Our sustainability strategy defines clear goals, responsibilities and key figures across
three areas: Environment & Climate, Social Affairs & Employees, and Business & GRC.
It ensures transparency and measurability
of the progress.
We take responsibility for the environment and climate. In our hotels and beyond, we reduce energy and water consumption, rely on green electricity, climate-neutral district heating and efficient technology. Green roofs, native plants and a bee hotel support biodiversity. In this way, we create sustainable places where environmental awareness and comfort go hand in hand.

Responsibility for diversity lies with Anna Dorich, General Manager of the aletto Hotel Kudamm. She develops and fosters an open and inclusive corporate culture that sees diversity as a strength. She ensures a transparent and effective complaints process, promotes an open feedback culture and trains staff in handling complaints professionally. Responsibility for safety as well as occupational health and safety lies with Ronny Walda, Facility & Hygiene Manager. He ensures safe and healthy working conditions, assesses risks and implements preventive measures. Responsibility for compliance lies with Hendrik Kröger, Managing Director of aletto Hotels. He acts as the interface between aletto Hotels and Avanca Holding. He ensures compliance with legal requirements, internal policies and ethical standards, and supports employees with any related queries.Compliance reports are submitted directly to the Avanca Group.
